Very excited that 6 of my childhood polaroid photos got included into the latest F-Stop Magazine issue. These images were taken by my father when I was 3-4 years old, back then the wall-carpets were a thing in newly formed Russia.
In 1993, my dad bought us a Polaroid camera. However, it wasn't easy to find the instant film in newly-formed Russia, so he shot the only pack within a few days and re-sold the camera later.
It’s been one month since I came back home after many years of brief visits during the winter holidays. Cleaning my hard drive, I came to a realization that mentally I never left, because of Skype. My little family takes a very special place in my values system. Like every family, we can be slightly dysfunctional, but it doesn’t mean that we don’t miss each other.
